The New Mexico Connection to "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed"

Dianne Anderson

Evening co-anchor, KRQE-TV13

On August 9th, 2005, back when KAGM 106.3 FM was still on the now-defunct Talk format, Intelligent Design was the subject of the Anderson/Mathis morning show.

A quote from Dianne Anderson on the 8-9-2005 radio show: "I believe there's no way we could have been created without a highly intelligent God up there creating this universe."

Anderson is married to Mark Mathis (right).

Mark Mathis

Rampant Films co-producer Mark Mathis. This (now defunct) page mentioned Mathis had a role as an ABC news reporter in "The Astronaut Farmer."

Mark Mathis is an associate producer of "Expelled:No Intelligence Allowed" starring Ben Stein.

From the Baylor Lariat, Sept. 19th, 2007: "Troubled by the Baylor administration's removal of an intelligent design web site from a Baylor server, a producer from the film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed is planning a Thursday trip to campus in hopes of meeting with President John Lilley. Distinguished professor Dr. Robert Marks' personal research Web site on evolutionary informatics was taken down from a Baylor server last month, and producers of Expelled want to speak to Lilley about it. 'We are disturbed with what happened with Dr. Marks,' executive producer Walt Ruloff said. 'He was working on some really vital research.' Even though he was not granted an official meeting with Lilley, associate producer Mark Mathis has decided to bring a film crew on campus anyway. ..."

Read how Mark Mathis interviewed biologist P.Z. Myers for "Expelled" under false pretences.

Mathis is also Founder and Senior Advisor of "ResponsibleEnergy.org".

SourceWatch notes that "In March 2006 Mathis was a co-signatory on a letter, initiated by the Competitive Enterprise Institute, in support of an expansion of oil drilling in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge. ..."

SourceWatch Page on Mark E. Mathis

SourceWatch notes that "CEI [Competitive Enterprise Institute] projects dispute the overwhelming scientific evidence that human induced greenhouse gas emissions are driving climate change. They have a program for 'challenging government regulations,' push property rights as a solution to environment problems, opposed US vehicle fuel efficiency standards and been a booster for the drug industry. ..."
