New Mexicans for Science and Reason
What really happened in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947? Are there "hidden messages" from God encoded in the Torah? Is the government of the United States spraying deadly chemicals on its citizens? Is the Earth just 10,000 years old?
If you wonder what New Mexico's scientists are saying about these and other questions, you've come to the right site!
Get ready for a smorgasbord of wacky: creationism, quackery, UFOs, aliens, Bible Codes, and more. Dave Thomas
leads New Mexicans for Science and Reason (NMSR.org) and is an expert in exploring and exploding myths, fakes, and
misinformation.
Thomas is a scientist and software engineer best known for his scientific skepticism research and writings. He is
an adjunct instructor of psychology and education at New Mexico Tech and is frequently published in Skeptical Inquirer
magazine. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics and a master's degree in mathematics from New Mexico
Institute of Mining and Technology (now New Mexico Tech).
His skeptic work covers the Roswell and Aztec UFO sightings, flat earth conspiracies, the Bible code, global warming,
the 9/11 Truth movement, and chemtrails. Thomas and scientist Kim Johnson co-hosted Science Watch, a weekly podcast on
AM 1350, from 2005 to 2010.
